Thank you for being here at the beginning.

This is a new chapter for Common Craft Studio, and we are glad you are stepping into it with us.

There is a particular kind of quiet that settles over a room when everything in it belongs. The furniture, the light, the art, and the small worn objects all seem to have arrived together, over time, on purpose. That feeling is what we chase here. It is also why this Journal exists.

Welcome. Common Craft Studio is a full service interior design and art curation studio based in Metro Atlanta. We are rebuilding the studio from the ground up, with a renewed focus and a clearer sense of the work we want to make. This Journal is part of that fresh start: a place to slow down and share what really matters.

What we do

We design interiors and curate art as one practice, not two. A room and the art within it should be considered together, with proportions, palette, mood, and meaning all in conversation. We work on residential and commercial projects across Atlanta and beyond, from a single focal wall to a whole home vision, always with an eye toward spaces that feel collected rather than decorated.

What modern heirloom means to us

It is the idea that the things we live with should be worth keeping. Nothing trend chasing, nothing disposable, but pieces that are considered, durable, and quietly beautiful in a way that deepens with time. A modern heirloom room feels current without feeling temporary. That philosophy shapes every choice we make, from the artwork we source to the way a sofa sits in the light.

What you will find here

This is where we will share the thinking behind the work: design perspectives and notes on how we approach a space, first looks at new art collections, the occasional project story, and glimpses into the studio process. Some posts will be practical, some will be more reflective. All of them come from the same place, a genuine love of building rooms that feel like home.
